Never ever jump to conclusions!!
Just read this article by a Singaporean youth on a "tissue paper uncle":
And yeap I'm always shunning these tissue paper sellers because
a) i don't need the tissue
b) i just feel annoyed by them
But eh!!
I didn't consider that that could be their only source of income
AND that with their age, mobility is a problem
(my english has deteriorated?!)
The part where he got scolded for writing the four numbers got me a bit sad too :(
Think of an old man happily getting up in the morning, ready to sell some tissues with some *~business technique~*!!! He eagerly bundles the tissues into fours and writes 4D numbers on them so that his tissues are more unique.
BUT NOPE he gets scolded!!!
I understand the whole gambling thingy but ahhh i just.
Old people are fragile national treasures, man.
I guess I wanted to say like, yo, help out if you can?
Almost every night there is a cello busker along Lygon St and he doesn't get a lot of money as compared to the modern day song buskers :/
But without fail he's always there playing away!
Props to him.
YEEEESH.
I feel so helpless now. :(
Gonna go read the Bible...
Oh but before I forget: May 11 is Mothers' Day!!!
NTS to do something.
And Lux Foundry was so good.
It's underrated!
(preferably stay that way then there won't be such large crowds)
Lastly
Feeling bummed out about project partner...
Just don't feel like getting to know him D:
