From Joy, one of the House 5 weirdos,
Unto Rachel, the sassiest girl with the biggest heart ever to exist:

May the warmth of the Palmerston family stay with you forever even as you depart from us to return home to Singapore.

Dear Rachel
How do I begin? Only been 4 months since we've met and i've got quite a bit to say. Even though we weren't that close (Shona, Giselle, Philip, Braden being your homies and all), I still have this very sad bubble in me denying your exit from Palmie.

I still remember the first time we met, in Sherwynn's room. You had this awesome energetic aura around you and you were so friendly to us, asking if we listened to this band or that, and if watched this YouTube video or YouTuber. You showed us Kingsley, "Ain't Nobody got Time Fo' Dat", "Cobra Pit", "Hide Yo Kids" and so much more... Remember "pattin' yo weaves"? :'-) I remember you didn't only talk to Shona just because she was the most outspoken, but you also turned around and talked to us quieter ones too. I really appreciated that. ;u;

And then, as time went on, Shona and you really clicked and the two of you would often talk together. Even though I saw less of you, I really loved hearing the occasional "YOUR MOTHER LA" and "CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP?" coming from both of you. And the Leticia accent! I guess in a way it really helped to bring Palmie together. Also, you were like a senpai figure, knowing what to and what not to do in Trinity. Telling all of us that skipping a few classes wouldn't hurt was a good move. I suppose we would've all remained as scared ostriches for a longer period of time before daring to skip/sign the roll for others. c: (okay, maybe only me???)

You were also the first July person to talk to us! From you, we slowly got to know the July boys... And i think we're all glad we got to know them, those crazy fellas. You've just been a very pivotal character in my Trinity life and I don't know how I would've been had I not met you. You were always in the crush of Palmie events and your presence just made everything so much better.

I don't know if you have any ill-bearing toward me because of any accidental offending, but if you do, I didn't mean it!! :-( I really felt like I should've got to know you better... But there's when you come back, yeah? :-) And thank you for bringing me to Ying Thai. The food there was amazeballs.

So... summing up what you've done for us in these few months that you've gotten to know us Feb 2013 kids:

-You made Palmie lively
-You gave us tips on how to survive Trinity
-You cared for all of us, especially those close to you
-You expanded our social circles! Popzgirl_95, always averaging 53.777 likes on your instagram photos (and yes, i did go and count ^u^)

You were Rachel.
(And a damn fine one in that valedictory outfit)

Goodbye, goodbye!
I hope you come back to visit soon... (ToT)
